Emily Wedding 07/19/08

Jim,

I just wanted to thank you so much for making my wedding unique and beautiful with the help of your hydrangeas. The flowers were perfect. The colors were exactly what I wanted and they made great arrangements and bouquets. I will definitely recommend anyone to purchase hydrangeas from you. The price was very affordable and a lot more reasonable than buying from a local flower shop even with me being in Tennessee and your hydrangea farm in California. The quality, size, and color was better than what I saw at any flower shop and I was able to use the money saved on other wedding expenses. Thank you again and may God bless you and your family. Heather's Wedding

I ordered my wedding flowers from you for our June 28th wedding and I just wanted to tell you thank you sooooo much. they were beautiful. I was a little leary since Colorado is so dry and hydrangeas seem to be a very touchy flower. Anyway they turned out beautiful, here's a pic of the boquets that were made from them.

Laura & Nate Wedding June 26, 2008

Jim,
I can't begin to tell you how pleased we were when opening our boxes upon delivery. The flowers looked amazing and stayed beautiful until the day of our wedding. The colors were extraordinary and they were exactly what we had hoped for. The pictures can't do justice for how brilliant they were.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.Laura & Nate Connell

( Only do this step if you feel the blooms are slightly wilted, though Laura & Nate performed this and their flowers held up well thru the wedding.)

Hydrangea Week 7-21-08

.Three quarters of the way thru July and you’re already hearing about “Back to School” sales in the stores. Don’t let my daughters or her friends hear about going back because they are having too much fun going to the beach each day after work.
It’s been fun seeing my girls grow up and to be able to help “Dear Ol’ Dad” out before they up and completely fly out of the nest. But as these hydrangea flowers start out as tender buds and are nurtured into full bloom; they eventually need to leave and bring happiness to many others. (Can’t keep them to myself).

Marcia O'Hern Wedding

Marcia was so wonderful to send me these photos of the Hydrangeas we sent to her on 07/09/08 of her Wedding event. She also included these comments of how she performed her art of creating this beautiful wedding hydrangea event you see pictured below.

Hi Jim,
Thanks so much for the great hydrangeas. The colors were fabulous and as these pictures show the hydrangeas were lovely.
The flowers arrived just before 10a.m. as your e-mail stated. I submersed them in water and then began to untie and separate the hydrangeas. Using a diagonal cut under water I then put them into buckets over night and kept them very cool.
On Friday, using oasis I arranged 3 hydrangeas in 4x4x4 glass vases and then using a glue gun I put cream ribbon around the glass vase.
For the bridal party bouquets I added pink wax flowers and seeded eucalyptus because the bride wanted a feeling of wild flowers as opposed to a sophisticated bouquet. On Friday I wrapped the bridal party bouquets with florist tape and Saturday 2 hours before the ceremony I wrapped the green floral tape using cream ribbon. I left enough of the stem at the bottom so that the bouquets could be put in a vase with cold water until they were to be used.
I used vials for 16 flowers in order to use them on the wooden railings at the restaurant. Two hours before the ceremony we cut the wax flowers and hydrangeas to be used on the different levels of the fountain and added greenery. The flowers were so fresh when they arrived that I didn't even need to submerse all of them in water.
Again, thank you for your great communication and for the very fresh flowers. They looked gorgeous.
I look forward to using you again.
Marcia O'Hern

First Time Back 2008

This is my first post to the Blog in 2008. Customers to our web site www.weddinghydrangea.com have been inquiring as to why I haven't posted anything this year 08. No excuses just occupied with so many things.

Anyways here is a great reason to submit a post.

Meghan Kerr purchased some hydrangea flowers from us that we shipped to her on June 25th this year for her wedding. She sent me these great photos of her wedding and this following comment.

Hi Jim,Sorry it took me so long to respond, but unfortunately life doesn't getting any less busy after a wedding! The flowers we received were absolutely beautiful! Putting together my own centerpieces and bouquets was very therapeutic with all the wedding hustle and bustle, and the fact the flowers were absolutely gorgeous made it more memorable and special! The colors were so vivid, and all of the stems arrived in great shape. Thank you so much for the care you put into my order! I've attached some pictures I took (my mother in law and my aunt helped me- I'm the one in the gray shirt),

Thank you again!~Meghan Kerr

AUGUST , Summer Vacation Almost Gone!

Here we are, August, and the last few weeks before the kids head back to school. Hector and his son are off on vacation for 2 weeks and 2 of my daughters are pitching in to help us get these hydrangea blooms out to you. (It helps knowing they are being paid!)
We still have good supplies of all colors, head size is big and the stems are long. The plants also are still producing a lot new flowers, so we should have a good supply well into October.

SUMMER TIME !!!

SUMMER TIME!!!, And I’ve been able to have one of my daughters Ellie, and a son of an employee, Hector, help with the work since they are off school this summer. Saving up and gaining work experience is welcomed by some of our youth, Praise the Lord!!! So there still is hope for this next generation.
We had a very busy week last week, shipping out large numbers of these Hydrangea blooms due to the demand for wedding flowers on Saturday 07-07-07. Either those to be wed felt it would be a lucky day for them or that the groom would never have an excuse to forget an anniversary on that date.
